Monday June 27th, 2016 *LAST DAY OF SCHOOL*

Students participated in SPORTS DAY all morning. A variety of stations were set up outside for them to partake in including: mini golf, wall ball, relay races, basketball, water relay/soak, volleyball, etc. The flag the students created and the made up country they wanted to be from: 

We also finished our read-a-loud WEDNESDAYS IN THE TOWER. Students wanted to know further titles in the series as well as other series the author has written. The series we have been reading can be borrowed from the Calgary Public Library or ordered via Amazon as they are out of print. The next book in the series that we HAVE read is:

TONIGHT is our SLLW (Celebration of Learning)

 6:00-7:00pm

Please come and share in the students excitement...they would love to show you all of the projects and learning that has taken place both in Room 82 and throughout the school. 

Students have taken home a number of school items that can remain at home. Please help your child to check their backpacks and their blue communication folder. :0)

Popcorn Friday 

Parent council will be selling bags of Kernels Popcorn at school on Friday, June 24 in the morning.  There will be four flavors to choose from: Buttersalt, Dill Pickle, Cheese, and Caramel.  They will be selling for $2.00 each to take home on Friday. If you would like your child to purchase a bag please send a toonie to school with them on Friday morning.  In addition, any popcorn that is left over, will be sold on the school compound starting at 11:45 am on June 24^th.

TOMORROW NIGHT is our CELEBRATION OF LEARNING. Please come to Cranston School from 6-7pm and view all the amazing projects and experiences that the kids have done and had.

Thursday is our STUDENT LED LEARNING WALKS from 6-7pm. Please get your parents to come and see all the learning and projects you have been working on for your movie inquiry and our Medieval Ages history study. :0)
